Incredible India!

Work took me to India, so Robert decided to tag along.  We spent two weeks in Mumbai and Delhi and it truly was an incredible experience.  We prepared for our trip by watching a season of both Outsourced and the Amazing Race.  Both should be prerequisites for India travel as they provided great insight on what's to come.

Despite the poverty, pollution and sheer number of people, India is very rich with culture and experiences of a life time.  From temples, to slums, to the Dalai Lama... we made sure to soak up all India had to offer.

Lori and Robert spent 4 hours in the Mumbai slums and were fortunate to gather up some great pictures. Though viewed as complete poverty, the people of the slums are actually very hard working individuals who choose to live this way.

Last, but not least, I was very grateful to catch a glimpse of the Dalai Lama one morning prior to going to work. Our friend Michael snapped a photo of him as he passed by. This can be found in our India photo album.
