Mid-August brought a couple of rain showers that gave the lower level of our house an unwanted water-pressure cleaning. The first was on a Thursday, when heavy rain fall dumped 8 inches in our lower level and garage. After several days of aggressive cleaning, sorting out damaged items and insurance calls, storm #2 hit. It soon became obvious that the first storm was a trial period as we now had 18 inches indoors and 22 inches in the garage. Now that our home is cleaned and belongings have been replaced, we are undergoing a construction project to put stilts on all of our lower level items. Does anybody have any recommendations for a water proof rug?
