Sunday in Gent

So it is becoming a Sunday tradition to take European road trips! Since Saturday was spent as a domestic day (getting tv and internet hooked up) and everything is closed on Sunday, we decided to take a short trip to Gent. This would be the second Sunday in a row where we traveled to another city.

We'd heard how beautiful Gent was. I must admit some of our research was from friends, while the rest of our information was from Wikipedia (which states Gent is arguably the most beautiful city in Belgium). Well Wikipedia was right! We loved Gent! It was like a small Venice, with canals and boat tours... and being the tourists we are.. we had to take a boat tour.

Gent will be one our our frequently traveled cities. For those of you visiting, make sure this is a location you add to your list! Check out our video and pics to see for yourself!
